Google To Discontinue Support to 1st and 2nd Gen Nest Theromstats

Google has recently announced that it will discontinue support for first and second-generation Nest thermostats, with service officially ending on October 25th, 2025.

These older thermostats will no longer be compatible with the Nest and Google Home apps, meaning you’ll lose access to smart features such as remote control, alerts, and app-based adjustments. However, these thermostats will still function locally and continue to follow any preset schedules.
